ASK Romein’s history began back in the 1960’s. The emergence of industrialization in the Sloe region in Zeeland (the Netherlands) resulted in this small local building company growing into a medium-sized construction company which subsequently merged with the Belgian ASK company in the 1990’s. The merger of these two companies put ASK well and truly on the map as a steel and industrial building contractor. In the 1970’s a completely independent company, Romein Staalbouw, was established. In 1995 this company started Romein Industriebouw, a company which also specialized in industrial constructions.
